Sunday Morning - at 10:45am we gather as a large group in the Event Center on the First Baptist Church campus. Sitting around tables we try to engage one another in conversation that dips below the surface, engage a passage from the Bible in a way that we can grab ahold of it, and engage ourselves as to what we will do with the new truth we have learned. Interested?

CORE Groups - meet at various times and locations throughout the week. The name CORE signifies the significance we place on a student being involved in one of these groups. Each one is a gathering of 5 to 10 guys or gals who commit to meet each week for Bible study and to figure out what Biblical community looks like. Interested?

Big Church - The First Baptist College Ministry is a local church based mission to the TECH campus. We want a student to be involved in relationships with church members of all ages. First Baptist has a 9:30am and a 10:45am service each Sunday. We attend the 9:30am service and then make our way to the Event Center for our meeting. Outside of Sunday, we try and connect students with families in the church and are always presenting various opportunities for service. Interested? Check out www.fbcruss.org

Global Focus - First Baptist is a globally minded fellowship of believers which recognizes college students as the most reachable, trainable, and sendable group on the planet. Therefore, our college ministry has a tremendous focus on God's heart for the world. We are constantly attempting to involve students in praying, mobilizing, welcoming, giving, and going in response to our great God and His passion for the nations. Interested?

Feature Opportunity - Backpacking Trip!!! Our next big event is a 3 day 2 night backpacking trip in late October. It looks like we will be leaving Friday afternoon on the 27th and returning on the 29th. This will be a great time to build friendships and to enjoy creation! Interested?

Ski Trip - Each year we take a 5 day trip to Breckenridge, CO right before the 2nd semester gets started. We stay at a ski-in/ski-out condo and get almost three full days on the slopes. We gather in the mornings to be challenged and encouraged from God's word. Many students have found this opportunity to be a life changing encounter with God as well as a great chance to deepen their relationships with one another. Interested?

aXis - What about spending next June and July at a discipleship training project in Asheville, NC called "aXis"! You would live with @40 other college students, work a job, and spend nights and weekends asking God to center your world around the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through large group, small group, and one to one settings you would be challenged, encouraged, and equipped to know Him and to make Him known! Interested?
