To Live

Did you know that Jesus defined eternal life as, "knowing God"? Something much greater than walking streets of gold and strumming a harp forever, huh! He also claimed to be the only one who (in a world of disobedient humans) had the credentials to introduce us to God in the first place! Pretty arrogant, wouldn't you say!

That is why it is foolish for a person to say that Jesus was a good man grouped with many others like Him. C.S. Lewis said that when you look at the life of Jesus this analysis is just not an option. He made claims to be God in the flesh and to be the only path to the restoration of our broken relationship with the creator.

As a result when we look at Jesus we have only three options. Either He was a liar, a lunatic, or the Lord of all creation who is worthy of every ounce of our every moment! What have you done with Jesus?

Maybe you have found your way to this site having never really heard of Him. Or, maybe you have heard of Him, but only as some stuffy icon in a glass case. And then, you could be a church goer who gives Him lip service, but who really still lives as if you are god.

What have you done with Jesus? His life, death, resurrection from the dead, and approaching return demand a response! What is yours?

We would love to hear your answer and to discuss this further! Just email Mark at mpalfreeman@fbcruss.org
